Google verifies your Arizona contractor license, your insurance, and runs a background check before it will show your ads. That sounds like a hurdle. It’s actually the best thing about the program — because the unlicensed guy undercutting you on Facebook Marketplace cannot follow you here.
If you’re licensed, insured, and legitimate, the screening is just paperwork — and I handle the paperwork. The “Google Guaranteed” badge that comes out the other side is a trust signal your competitors can’t buy without becoming as legitimate as you already are.
One honest caveat
LSA is an add-on, not the foundation. The ads spend money the moment they run; the profile, website, and review engine keep earning after the budget stops. And your review count feeds your LSA ranking — which is why the core system comes first, and the ads pour fuel on something that’s already built to convert.
